You will take ownership of the complete lifecycle for new school sites—from undeveloped property to fully functioning campus—while simultaneously constructing systems that make every subsequent launch faster, more efficient, and increasingly reliable. This is not conventional development work. Your purpose is not simply to oversee projects. Your mandate is to systematically remove obstacles from the expansion process. That requires decisive judgment on site suitability, direct intervention in permitting and construction challenges, vendor negotiation, and relentless timeline management. Concurrently, you will deconstruct each phase of this process into structured, AI-enhanced workflows that minimize manual intervention and enhance forecasting precision across iterations. What You Will Be Doing <ul><li>Execute critical site evaluation decisions by confirming zoning compliance, permitting requirements, cost parameters, and timeline viability through structured and AI-supported analysis</li><li>Manage multiple concurrent school construction projects, directing construction managers, clearing obstacles, and delivering on-time, within-budget openings</li><li>Create clear, actionable capital project proposals that secure stakeholder alignment on scope, budget, and implementation approach</li><li>Direct vendor selection processes, RFPs, and contract negotiations with emphasis on velocity, quality standards, and cost discipline</li><li>Break down expansion processes into discrete work components and construct AI-powered systems that reduce cycle time and increase predictability </li></ul>What You Won’t Be Doing <ul><li>Operating as a passive status monitor dependent on contractor or partner updates</li><li>Limiting your scope to a single phase (such as site selection or construction only) without accountability for complete outcomes</li><li>Depending on manual, improvised methods that restart from scratch with each new location</li><li>Escalating challenges without personally addressing permitting, design, or construction roadblocks</li><li>Consuming months in stakeholder alignment without forcing a definitive decision </li></ul>VP Of Construction Management Key Responsibilities Take complete ownership of new school location expansion by delivering fully operational campuses on reliable timelines while systematically decreasing time-to-open, capital requirements, and execution risk through AI-enhanced systems.
